One of twenty-four clergy selected for a landmark psilocybin study at Johns Hopkins University. The experience changed everything — not by introducing new truths, but by illuminating patterns that had been present all along.
Roger Joslin is an Episcopal priest serving two congregations on the North Fork of Long Island, where he founded The Garth Project, an ecology of spiritual practice. He has been a runner, a pilgrim, a sailor, and a contemplative. He has walked the Camino de Santiago twice. He sails a 43-foot Shannon ketch named Entangled.
He was ordained in 2005, after more than twenty years in the architectural woodwork business. His first assignment was to plant a church in Bentonville, Arkansas — the headquarters of Walmart — on the principle that all are welcome. All Saints grew to become the fifth-largest and most diverse congregation in the Diocese of Arkansas.
He has been interviewed by Michael Pollan and featured in The New Yorker and The Economist. He is the author of two books and is completing a third.
